I recently got a nice kief grinder (space case) and the powder is slowly but surely coming in.

I'm just wondering before I smoke any of this, what % of kief is THC? I used to think that kief was 100% THC but I was told otherwis when I asked a few of my fellow stoners.

Highly variable depending on quality but I would guess anywhere from 20-50 percent THC.

All I know is I can get high countless times from a gram of kief.

I would say that's about right. I think bubblehash is no more than 70%-80%

how much % thc is in a some pretty good bud then?

I always thought kief was waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa aaaaaaaay more potent than just weed.

It is.

I can get high about 20 times from a gram of quality kief.

I remember one time I had a friend who had only been sold shit quality fake hash probably like bong resin and be was all like "yeah hash is just grinded up leafs or something it never gets me high".

I packed a bong hit of like 1/16 of a gram of kief for him and he couldn't even move for like 45 minutes.

Hash oil is ridiculous I can get high off of like 1/40 of a gram from that shit.

Kief grinders have nice screens and they produce quality hash.

If you put a little sprinkle of grinder kief on top of your next bowl pack you will be ripped.

The shit expands in your lungs so much and gets you so high I love kief.

Kief isn't even worth selling it is that good.

All I can say is go easy on that kief in your grinder and don't smoke too much because a little goes a looooooooooong way.

I have actually had people say that I drugged them or laced their hit after they smoked kief because they where that fucked up.

You sound like you never even smoked kief get yourself a card scrape up the kief you have so far and smoke a bowl!

Most pot doesn't have real high THC levels. I would think around 10%-15% for really good stuff

uhh 20% thc by weight sounds off...so does 15% , this figure must be in relation to the amount of total active alkaloids swirlin inside a gland because i really can't fathom that....as much as i want to believe it i simply CAN NOT.

its gotta be based on something other than total mass....

i guess it could mean 20% total kief..as the primary active is the THC molecule...but that would still mean none of this has basis in science.
basically a marketing strategy

in other words,
only other explination is them clustering thc and all other active compounds together to come to that number...minus biomass of the inactive stuff like alchohols and terpines...

these are figures i've heard quoted numerous times and, until now, accepted without questioning.

but it's just hit me...20% THC?? that means if i have 5gs of the 20% shit, i have ONE PURE GRAM of THC???

i mean, maybe thats right..just seems kinda high to me!
