Wink FIRECRACKERS for the 4th!!

So I know "edible" threads should usually be in the Cooking w/ Cannibis sub-forum, but since the 4th of July is almost here, I figured this would be an ok spot for a Firecracker/4th thread!!
.. Firecrackers have always been hit or miss for me, but they're soo easy to make and I haven't had any in years so I figured with the 4th coming up, making some FC's would only be right!!

I ground up about 1.3G of Medical-grade good quality greens, and split it between 5 peanut butter sandwhiches.. I mixed a tiny bit of unsalted Butter with the PB (before putting the weed on) to help with THC-Fat absorption.. On previous attempts I would usually use about a GRAM of lower-grade (but still good) pot, so I figured I'd up the ante this time..

I cooked them at 320F for about 24 minutes on a cookie sheet, (and bumped it up to 350F for about 4 of those minutes to make sure all the THC cooked into the fats).. It appears I burned them a bit, should I be worried???!!?

About to eat all 5 FIRECRACKERS right now on an empty stomach with some milk!! I'll let you know how it goes!! Than I'm going to make about 1.6G of firecrackers for the 4th, since, well... gotta have FIRECRACKERS for the 4th!!

Eating them right now, I will get back to you all!! Anybody else have any crazy 4th of July Plans??

Haha I've done that too.. I finished gobbling them down about 3 minutes ago, all 5 Firecrackers with a bit of honey on top and washed down with a big glass of chocolate milk!!

Weird, but I swear I feel a little floaty/spacey already and I literally just finished eating them.. Maybe I shouldn't have eaten all 5 of them (1.3G's of high-grade or so)!!

So I almost felt like I was tripping for the 1st hour after ingestion along with a small body high, but this could have been a "placebo" or all in my head..

I still feel a slight "trippyness", my mood is a bit different/odd and things feel different/weird/space.. Honestly not intense at all though. It's only been an hour, but I'm beginning to think I'm either doing it wrong or immune to edibles or something lol. I'm a decently heavy smoker (about 2G's of chronic a day, usually through bong rips), I figured about 1.3G of some very high-grade stuff would be enough to do the trick..

Oh well.. I'm about to take my 1st bong hit of the day and maybe after that I'll be fucking wrecked (like I'm hoping!!).. Will report back later

I never thought these worked as well compared to something that was infused with properly made cannabutter. Plus.. who wants to eat weed?

if you are a beginner and you think you're immune to edibles, well.. then you haven't had properly infused edibles yet. I would put cannabutter on your to-do list for your next edible adventure. Then you can make cookies or brownies and get wrecked.

Thanks for the input guys!! But I am in no way a beginner, I am a seasoned smoker and have tried a variety of edibled including cannabutter (and cannabutter products - cookies, brownies, ect..)

Don't get me wrong, my home-made cannabutter products always get me pretty stoned. But I'm not growing at the moment, and didn't want to go through all the hassle and time of making cannabutter, and don't have an extra half ounce or so to spair..

I did firecrackers because they are cheap and easy to make, only used about $20 worth of weed. Slight hallucinogenic effect and a pretty good body stone going. Another reason I did FIRECRACKERS is because it's almost the 4th OF JULY and what's this holiday without Firecrackers (fireworks lol)??!!

I'm pretty stoned but nothing extraordinary, I might have been better off rolling it into a fat joint or 2 but no biggie
