Yeah, the shit has really been hitting the fan around here, as the haven for expert growers is degrading to a confused melee for all the noobs and assholes from OG. As for me I’m not going to contribute anymore this year. Like some of you out there I’m a former OGer that came here when our site went offline, but what we failed to see in our mass migration across the static is that the place we settled in was already occupied. From everything I’ve been reading this was a most distinguished community of growers that has been reduced to a pale shadow of itself. I’ve made a shit load of postings since I joined but what I also wasn't sensitive to was making a real contribution to the community. There are some of you out there with hundreds of postings in a 30 day period. Why, for log jammed chaos? Shouldn’t fellow growers respect each other and realize the threat we’re all facing from governmental crackdowns? A house divided against itself cannot stand PERIOD! I'm all for participation but not mean-spiritedness because one has become bored (PlayStation 2 is broken) or because one is stupid (genetics).

Feb 2006 should be known as D-day around here because this site’s bursting at the seems with negativity and a general disrespect for the indigenous inhabitants. Since change can only begin with each individual I’m going to add my part. I’m not going to post again on this site until 2007. I’d like to see what happens when the dust settles completely before I attempt to integrate myself back in. I wish blessings and peace to all of the growers on this site. I hope things will improve and the community that used to exist here will return. There’s nothing like the feeling of being able to identify with others that have chosen this way of life. Until then I’ll read what knowledge you OGIC’s have left. The key to learning proper cannabis cultivation is reading anyway, not posting until you have carpel tunnel. I've never asked one cannabis related question on either site because I've found that others have already asked the same questions and have had them answered by smarter people than I.

Your post shows a perception not evident to most of the kids and on growers. I agree with the lay low until it blows over attitude, to an extent.

I offer a few observations, if I may be so bold. Ask yourself a few questions like, "Has any pot smoking or pot friendly neighborhood been safe from delinguents or law enofrcement harrassment?" Sadly, kids and frustrated lovers with hangovers want others to feel their contrived "pain".

"Let's go fuck with the potheads, what are they gonna do, get us stoned." I've noticed that most of these people either have lucked out and scored big on a beautiful harvest and got such a big head that no one can talk to them anymore, or they don't have the ability or attention span to learn, grow and the desire to share that knowledge without feeling protective and want everyone else to fuck up their shit too to prove they aren't the only ones that can't handle it.

Kids invade a neighborhood, wreak havoc with the residents until they attract so much attention from the law they are forced to move on. It happened in Milwaukee, Chicago, Detroit, Lansing, Denver, any town that attracts like minded people also attracts those that harass it.

The kids are forced to find easier targets to harrass with less retaliation, and the egotistical farmers that think they are too good to share how they got there eventually find that they have never made friends and the endless battle with LEO and family finally takes them in easily without the caring suggestions from friends. Those of us that live this life accept the changes and deal with it just like we have so many times before.

These people have destroyed HT, then CW, then OG and anything else they think they can take down for fun. They like to keep shit stirred up so the community can't gather to fight them - typical gang strategy happening in any given community at any given point in time. We either add to their disruptions or accept it as a minor gnat and swat it away to move on with our tasks at hand.
