Power supply in cold/humid area
Hi to all
I have a big problem. I own a magnetic 400w power supply and I have to set it up in a cold and humid basement. All I want is to be safe and prevent electrical issues. Could I try to build a little box to cover it from humidity and cold? What material should I use? Thanks for your help |

A dehumidifier should help out, it will reduce the humidity and also provide some extra heat. Probably not to big of an issue really. Unless its so moist your noticing condensation.

box the area in with pressboard - cheap - and screw it together. then your light will be in an enclosed area, add a space heater for lights out and your set to go.
