Exclamation We Sure Live In Different Worlds!

Observations...

I have to pause and chuckle whenever i hear a Californian complaining that the 'club/dispensary' doesn't have the strain of choice in stock!

i can't even imagine walking into a store and buying herb/clones.

you guys are spoiled!

my last trip to planet San Francisco, i observed a boutique type shop clerk smoking a joint on the sidewalk outside the place of employment...a traffic cop strolling on his beat...they exchanged greetings, and the fuzz just kept moving...it took me a few minutes to fully comprehend the situation. ...my host explained to me 'that's nothing, our police have better things to worry about'...i still can't believe i saw this with my own eyes, and that was 3 years ago!! had this scene played out where i live, oh my god...there would be local police, state troopers, DEA, helicopters, and a loooong jail time involved.

don't even get me started on the whole Amsterdam scene!

i'm just jealous

yea Sleepy..the first time I went to a club it was unreal, most have a great vibe to them, ppl just hanging out, smokin herb that helps out whatever is ailing them, we are very lucky to be able to do that, and yea nobody should complain about anything the clubs do, we are lucky just to have them, wish I could take you to one Sleepy

The clubs are a trip for sure, the first thing i noticed about one particular club was the diversity of the people shopping. It was very uplifting to see so many different people getting meds, not just abunch of couch locked stoners and hippies (dont get me wrong, i was raised by hippies, had hair down to mid back in th 3rd grade) im still a hippie at heart but its nice to see so many different people realizing the benfits of the herb. I even got a complimentory KAVA drink while waitng.

There are now about 5 clubs within a 2 mile radius of my house, what a trip eh?

peace

Even if it wasn't I don't think I could bring my self to purchase from one of these clubs. Kinda strikes the same tone in my morals as taking someone else's medicine. They need it, I don't.

Still, to be able to walk in, purchase, sit, smoke, smile, and leave, is a dream I hope I get see come through.

LoL, pigs round my way would be like "Compassion Club? Yeah? Well, lemme show you what club I carry"

Yah the "grass is always greener"/// on the other side.

True we can walk in and buy it, but its still extremely high priced compared to street prices, so that takes some time getting used to... When you can get decent "chronic" on the street for $35/8 you almost choke at 75/8 for some of the strains.

I wish more clubs would offer slightly cheaper alternatives. At New Remedies (14th/Mission, Frisco) They actually were selling SHWAG called "Old Skool" for 10/8 or 50/oz... Dude said they sell 30# a month of the stuff LOL...

I would like to see clubs offer some decent meds for around $15-20/8... Not everyone is a pot snob and not everyone can afford 75/8... I know I'd love to be able to get 1/2s for 80 of something thats decent...

The only thing I go to clubs for is the hash and sometimes babies...

M

P.s. Yah the cops are low key, in NORCAL...in SoCal, not so much...

LOL, I hear ya OP. I think we should ban all people from saying such damn things. Awww...you've gotta smoke 3 grams of white rhino instead of blueberry, legally, with a bunch of cool friends, in a public place....awwwww.........

GRRRRR...what I'd give. I have seriously considered a move out west for a long time, but the cost of living(from what I hear) is just unlivable for a young college kid from out of state.

Here in Oregon, we smoke freely just like down south.. Except we dont have clubs, but since 8 thousand or so OMMA card holders live less than 1 hours drive of portland. And since its been decrim in this state since 1972.... its Like out mini amsterdam here if feels nice..
