Hey everyone, welcome to my Hogsbreath hybrid grow. If you don't know by now i'm very interested in the HB and look forward to trying some hybrids out and looking for the HB phenos as well as any other dank phenos that pop up. Quick info. the Hogsbreath is a clone only strain originating from Tennessee. Its is a very potent resin coated indica that flowers for about 8-9 weeks. Smell is super pungent and the high is a knockout. CannaVenture Seeds had recently released 3 Hogsbreath hybrids and this is only the start of the project so i'm waiting to see what elses comes maybe some S1s if possile or even a Hogbreath IBL .

To start my quest I ordered a pack of Hogsbreath x Alien Kush from the 2nd half of the drop here. I started 5 and got 5 healthy plants up and going. CV also released the HB hybrids at other places over the net. I found one of the online vendors recently and ordered another pack this time it was the Garlic Breath. If you look around you still may find some very exclusive CV gear on some not too talked about sites. I started 10 of the GBs and I got 10 sprouts up so 15/15 total 100% germ rate, off to a great start . I will be growing these outdoors and will be transplanting them out there in hopefully a week or so. Plants are still young so its not a lot of interesting stuff to see yet but I did snag a pic early.

This is the 1st gear i've ever ran from CannaVenture Seeds but i'm really interested in the HB and seeing how these do. I hear the HB is potent and hopefully I can find something stronger than the old Sensi Hashplant my friends used to run (was my favorite strain but since its gone or rather fell from glory in our eyes i'm looking for something better). I plan on using the males to make a little more seed for future use and cloning all the females and not discarding any until i've had a chance to sample them at least. Only then will I be able to chose my keeper moms but once I get my indoor spot I can run larger populations and look for something even more special . I can hardly wait to smoke some of this.

Here's a pic for now of all the Garlic Breaths and 1 "Aliensbreath" (CV calls em Alien Hogs) vegging away early in a makeshift spot. This is gonna be a great grow and I will keep this thread updated. Thanks for stopping by checking out the show. The best parts are still to come . Take care 1

I've got fond memories of the Hogsbreath from my time in San Diego. This should be interesting.

All the herb we saw was really chunky, so I always envisioned it as a big yielder.

Hey GrownOut, you know I got plenty of room up in here for you . Hoping this is a great grow, haven't been excited like this about a grow since my 1st. My OD grow is nice sized (strain wise) but i'll have more Hogsbreath variants then any other strain this year. I want to take a good look at these the 1st go around since I plan on keeping some kind of Hogsbreath in the garden permanently and funny thing is i've never even had any HB i'm just that stoked about it from all them years of hearing about it. Also i'm following your grow too with the GBs to see how they do early.

Thank You all for stopping by and I will do my best with this grow. I also noticed that when I posted this thread the title was wrong lol (had just smoked and it was the 2nd time writing it out since I got logged out the 1st time). It was was supposed to say "for" not "of" guess the 2nd time I rushed through it and missed that, sorry ya'll. So far the plants are doing good and after a little bad weather we're about to have I should be putting them out in the OD spots. I will make sure to get some more pics of all of them before they go out as when they do pics will be hard to come by in my spots (late night garderner). I will be going out a couple of times in the day over the entire grow just to get a look at em in the sun and i'll definately make sure to get plenty of pics. Thanks bro. I need to get caught up and get some pics up of mine they are all over a foot tall now. Wont be too much longer, I may fast track atleast one into flower once I chop a couple down this week.
