Credit cards leave a paper trail. Until fully legal, at the fed level, I doubt they'll ever take cards. Opens them up to all kinds of legal trouble.
On the other hand think of the chargebacks. "hey man. my seeds didn't grow. I'm gonna contest that charge." Also that would be too damn easy. BTW...mahalo for the rep.

Would like to Grow on,Fred ![]() ![]() ![]() P.S. Or are we ![]()

an analogy for ya....
if your "fave" gas station is out of gas, are you gonna: 1. wait for the tanks to be refilled, or 2. go to the next gas station with fuel? life goes on, adapt or perish.

There are ways around the paper trail, such as using intermediaries who are willing to take risk. A premium most certainly could be charged for card use. I am sure people would be willing to pay a reasonable fee for the convenience.
I am not married to using my debit card for such transactions, but it sure would give me an incentive to shop at a particular favorite seed bank if they went to credit cards. All a seedbank like, say, Hemp Depot would have to do is jump on the credit card ship and I'm afraid Seedbay et al would lose out on a large portion of my business, just due to the convenience factor. So who wants my business for life by making my life easier and accepting credit cards? I understand the security risks but you are also taking other risks by not accepting cards i.e. losing business. Just my two cents. |

lol i think they know all this guys, they arent dumb..
of course seedbay loses alot of business to card accepting companies,, but alot of those guys are running that through other legal entities to avoid the eye of sauron falling on them and shutting em down,, i think cards arent safe and gypsy doesnt want them coming after him one day and shutting all this shit down,, just my guess.. i suggest get what you can, where you can, when you can.. |
