I think anyone with a Feb 06 Join Date should prove they want to grow and add to this community.

There are whole threads with only people who joined in Feb 06.

I'm sick reading all this crap put up or shut up.

im with you einstien guy...when i casme here it was a wonderful quiet village full of brilliant growers sharing info and having a giggle..... now its a city ful of yobs, 80percent of the origional villagers have gone elsewhere and were stuck with all the wannabe gangsters.... outta all the threads right now i can say there are 5 that are worth the bandwidth...... Very sad.... it is just like overslow now....and that bites...

Fuck them all. I have yet to see anything useful come from OG. Now I spend most of my time sifting through absolute garbage.

I can truly understand how you feel, Einsteinguy. I will be honest however, and admit, although my join date is from last year, I joined here and OG at the same time when I first decided I would begin to grow. I ended up spending all my time at OG, because I believe that OG was just set up better for first time growers. The FAQs, and answers to noob questions were all over the place. When I had just flipped to 12/12 on my first grow, the shit hit the fan. We all know what happened. So, after a week of not being able to get on OG, I remembered that I had registered here at ICmag back in August as well. I started to check out these forums, and realized that many of my OG brethren had made the move with me. Over the next few weeks, I came to the realization that I do not like the majority of people from OG. They brought hostility with them at the door, and there is no room for hostility in the world of cannabis, as far as I'm concerned. I became embarassed to associate myself with those people.(For the most part) You can search though all my posts, and you will see that I did not partake in all the mudslinging directed at Gypsy and OP. Every thread I found where an OG ref was bitching about how stuck up people were here, I defended you guys. Not because I felt like I had to, but because every one of you guys that I came across was nicer than anyone I ever met at OG.

I guess what I'm trying to say is, some of the people that made they're way over here from OG are good peeps. Some of them have a lot to bring to the table as far as growing. However, after a month of this crazyness, it seems like the percentage of good OGers that came here is about .0001%. So, the Feb 2006 join date is a good start, but let's make sure we do allow the good ones to stay. I hope you'll allow me to stay. I try to answer any questions I can in the grow thread whenever I'm here. I'm still a noob, so there's only so much help I can give someone. I try to help all the noobs I see with easy questions so that you hardcore experienced growers can spend time answering the tough questions.

Again, to summize(spelling?), I agree 100% with you. There are a TON of OG refugees who are clogging up this site with useless posts, and stupid questions. You definitely need to do a little housecleaning to get rid of the bad element. I just hope you guys handle it on a case to case basis. I love this place, and would hate it if you guys cancelled my account. Let's hope that somehow OG comes back, and they'll all leave as quickly as they came. I for one, am staying here. I like the people and the atmosphere way better than I did at OG.

A Plea from a former OGer, who will from this moment forward consider himself an ICmager.(Hopefully???)
