purple pheno of Chem Sour?
Whats up kind folks? I did a few searches and found stunning Chem Sour's, but did not find info on my specific question. Has anyone come across a purple pheno within the Chem SOur?
I popped a pack and have about 4-5 females in flower at two weeks in. Two of them i have had my eye on as potential keeper material. Vigor is very important and these two girls, although very different in stature, both are huge. I Just noticed my favorite of the two, has preflowers that have turned purple. Not from cold, or old, but real nice and purple. I would say there is a 1% chance this plant was mislabled and is in fact a killing fields, but i would be surprised as i am careful when i am dealing with little babies. She is all tied up in a trellis and hard to make out at this point, but i will snap some photos of the girl and her preflowers once she starts stacking! |

Cravenmore those are some beautiful shots. I had a Strawberry Diesel with similar fall foliage. Sometimes she would get crazy purples, other times more yellows.
I ain't talking bout purple leaves though...When pre-flower calyx starts turning 100% purple, to me that is an indication that the flowers will likely turn. though i sure would enjoy a fat vape of that chemdd... |

I'm pretty sure the New England Diesel aka NED has a purple pheno of Chem Sour as the mom. I'll have to ask the guy who made them, I was always getting NED confused with another CDxSD cross he made so I could be off on that.
Get some pics up, reply!

I can sometimes, but not always, coax my 4SD to turn purple. I've found her to be a little bit fussy and tempermental at that late stage of growth. The grow environment has to be just right, with colder overnight temps being the catalyst.
[IMG] Colder overnight temps will also slow down final spurts of growth and maturation, and might even cause some nanners to to pop out, so you don't want to over do it IMHO. [IMG] Same strain, different grow, less purple highlights, but still evident. [IMG] Peace & Sour Puiffs, RMS
