aero cloning

i put this together for a few pence .i have the waterline at 1 inch below rockwool cubes, is this too high?.theres no nutrients at minute shall i use any?.ive set the ph at 5.8.also shall i bother with the lid ?i left it on earlier and it totally misted up inside with out any lights above.any help most appreciated.

Thats a nice lil setup. I dont think its too high. They say with aero cloners a lid is'nt needed. I myself would leave it just because I would'nt want my clones drying out..

Well they say that aero cloners work great without nutes. But I myself always, at least use some superthrive to lessen the shock.
