Lilwayne, I was a gung-ho kid when I volunteered out of high school.
I became a medic for all the wrong reasons & soon found out that it was THE worst job in the army. My worst nightmare, every day. I had the worst PTSD. I'm pretty sure building the cabin saved my life. Gave me something else to focus on besides the faces. My issues had nothing to do with how I got treated when I got home! peace doublejj

Actually I wasn't treated that bad when I got home.
I can remember one time 3 of us (army) got thrown-out of the Raineer Brewery in Seattle for getting into a fight with a group of sailors. We pretty well trashed the place. When the police came, (because we were all in uniform), they wouldn't arrest us. They put the sailors in the police car & took them to the waterfront & put us (army) guys in a taxi, for Ft Lewis. peace doublejj

Wow impressive build doublejj.
I'd have to agree with FoCos statement. How much relief from that severe PTSD do you find in growing/smoking? |

I found Mary Jane in the rice paddies in 1969, got me thru Vietnam, & I have been a medicinal user ever since.

The cabin was 30'x30'. We added porches & decking all the way around.
1/2 loft looked down into living/dining area. Under the loft was kitchen & bathroom & pantry. We poured a large slab for a stone fireplace, to go right up the middle of the living/dining room, but we never got that done. We just used a wood stove. There was a 4x4 propane delvery service & we had some solar panels for lights. We also had propane lights & frig. & cooking. My wife got a job in town for the last 2 years, (just for her own sanity). If I got her out to the hwy, she could catch a ride into town (20 miles). This was long before cell phones. She told me later that her biggest fear was that she would get dropped-off after work one evening & I wouldn't be there to pick her up! I put her thru hell! peace doublejj P.S. We're still married!
