Carbon Tax and elecricity prices!!
Was wondering what peoples thoughts are on the increasing electicity rates and do you think they will affect the price of indoor pot prices. When the "Carbon Tax" is introduced it will mean my power rates have increased roughly 32% in 12mths. I've seen on "A Current Affair" a couple of weeks ago that Saint Vinnies have had a large increase of people seeking help with paying their power bills and this is even before the new tax has been introduced. These one off payments been given out to pensioners and people on the dole isnt really going to do much IMO. This is for you Gillard

Same situation as when they started to increase the cost of petrol, due to the increase cost of oil and yet were still using the same oil reserves they had 12 years ago and paying 3 times as much its all about greed. And a current affair and most major news stations just report on what the government wants them to tell you too keep you docile, watch independent stations or foreign news and you might get a little bit of truth but still mostly regulated. Rant over

I'm an old leftie so i think the Carbon Tax is a good idea.
i think its good were trying to cut back on atmospheric carbon thats warming our planet. but if we fail to stop global warming then Tassie will get warmer summers and milder winters. so no downside for me. ![]() its the costal dune residents (like Gold Coast, High Rise Apartments or beach side houses) i feel sorry for. they'll get flooded But wait!!! thats where rich people live. So still no downside for an old leftie like me. ![]()
