Stoners and thier voting voice
So here in Portland Republicans don't even bother running for any sort of office, so whoever wins the primary in turn wins the election in November. Well we just had a big vote for Attorney General, and the result was considered a MAJOR upset.
In November we will welcome this woman ![]() Ellen Rosenblum as our highest ranking law enforcement agent. This is a landmark election, as it is the first woman ever elected AG in Oregon, but it was also decided by the marijuana smoking citizens of Potland. Ellen has a very progressive stance when it comes to people and their own bodies. She believes no one should be able to say what you can and can not put into your own body unless you are causing harm to others. She also believes the biggest problem with medical marijuana in Portland is the lack of availability of medication for patients; so dispensaries will finally become legal once she takes office. She was supposed to lose, but card holders and just plain old smokers voted and because of this she WON! Our voice is being heard, and the ones in charge are on our side. This is HUGE news, and it all came down to her opponent trying to shut down dispensaries and her wanting them. Behold, the power of weed https://www.necn.com/05/17/12/Oregon-...f561a22c7000e1
