(CNN) -- Trayvon Martin had drugs in his system when he was fatally shot earlier this year by George Zimmerman in Sanford, Florida, according to autopsy results released Thursday.
Martin's blood contained THC, which is the psychoactive ingredient in marijuana, according to an autopsy conducted February 27 -- the day after the teenager was shot dead.
Toxicology tests found elements of the drug in the teenager's chest blood -- 1.5 nanograms per milliliter of one type (THC), as well as 7.3 nanograms of another type (THC-COOH) -- according to the medical examiner's report. There was also a presumed positive test of cannabinoids in Martin's urine. It was not immediately clear how significant these amounts were.

Concentrations of THC routinely rise to 100 to 200 ng/ml after marijuana use, though it typically falls to below 5 ng/ml within three hours of it being smoked, according to information on the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration's website.
While some states have zero-tolerance policies for any drug traces for driving while impaired, others set certain benchmarks, the website of California's Department of Alcohol and Drug Programs notes. In Nevada, that equates to 2 ng/ml for THC and 5 ng/ml for THC-COOH -- also known as marijuana metabolite. The cutoff level in Ohio is 2 ng/ml for THC and 50 ng/ml for THC-COOH.

the only thing that matters is if he attacked zimmerman or not...and the evidence shows zimerman took a beating, which justifies use of deadly force..if trayvon was able to beat zimmerman and take his gun it seems justified to shoot to kill.

Most here, and in the rest of the world will chime in on this case, but we all should step back from the drama, fire, and explosions and see the bull in accepting this case. We in 2012 still see corrupt media spins of some case that not only has so many holes in it it will never see a true hearing as all aspects of the case has been crazy mishandled in the name of creating a race issue.

We lived thru the emancipation proclamation, the 60s civil right movements, and we are the most diverse country on the planet, we need no bull crap in our lives like this, why would a media outlet report such a case, when many many f-ing kids go missing and never come home, report on worthwhile news, all this case does is creat division, when its a no brainer case that happen many many times in our society, even other cases that have more direct racial influence in them, but we get beat in the head over this one case thats bull.

The fact that T. Martin had THC in his system is bull, because we all know it can stay in your system for months if not years depending on how much smoked, so to ellude to THC having any baring to this case in media not in court, it is bull! We the people should look futher in not just this case, but the many the media is currently reporting on with race, and firearms. Notice what bills the president is passing to unarm us, and look at these false flag cases like this, it really sucks now MJ will yet again defend itself again for no reason, as many frickin drunk drivers kill thousands across the U.S and they dont have to defend shite, just get out in a week, and do the same shite again!

The fact this case turned into some race baiting bullshit is fucked up.

The fact some dude thinks he can harrass kids walking down the street is fucked. If some big douche with a fake kinkos printout bage started harrassing me cuz I didnt fit his idea of who should be walking down the street in america I probably would have got into a fight with him too. Should that give him the right to shoot me? I dont think so, I dont see how provoking a fight gives you the right to shoot at people, maybe I'm from a different country or brain sphere than those who see it that way.

You cant just randomly decide to chase people down and confront them for being in public and looking a way that oes not conform to your idea of how people should look. I think that's overstepping the bounds of a trained law officer, nevermind some dickhead with too much free time who wants to join a neighborhood watch (aka snitch brigade aka vigilante).

All this would be completely avoidable if Zimmerman had stayed in his car and minded his own business, which he didn't. And as someone pointed out, yeah Trayvon hit him apparently, but where's his right to "stand his ground" when some big guy with a gun comes after you when you're walking home.
