I love the People everywhere, some places more than others..

Absolutely adore the Geography of my Beloved Country and Northern California in particular, BIG TIME, can not even express my awe..>!

But the Politics of The Nation of My Birth, visually beautiful or no, are beyond embarrasing.

With friends worldwide, especially in Europe... Oh, the cackling about "You are so Fast, and yet, so SLOW.." . Unfortunately, they are right.. Referring to our Politics. I tell them we are a "Young Country."

We do not take care of our people - important in the Economic Slowdown experienced by most of late.

Nurturing People over Profits is not " Social-ism, " it is " Social Responsibility..!!!! ""

Although there have been some who lost quite a bit in Economic swings, Wealthy Folks are the ones who generally get the rewards.

Life and Economics are so uncertain for so many. No safety net For Health Care for a large portion of the population.
For many, Bankrupcy is the only Health Insurance.

That, in addition to the Corporate Prison System, is ALL part of why we have such high Crime Rates, as well as absurd Per-Capita Incarceration Rates compared to most other Western Industrialized Countries..

Stop Military Budgets as they are today, Increase Social Spending, and investment in Education.

Stop the Pharmaceutical Lobby and influences.. If all or any of that is Socialism, we had better get used to it, cause there;s more..! It is our future sooner or later..

How much Damage will we experience in the Interim..?
Are we ever going to advance as a People...? At a Turtle's Pace, apparently.
