What can you tell me about Biddy Early?

I'm looking into outdoor seeds for this Spring. I need them to be quick finishers and mold resistant. The end of our season is mid-October at the latest, and is usually pretty wet, I've had botyritis problems in the past.

Is this an autoflower strain? How potent? And any yield characteristics...Thanks.

Hi Buddha,

The Biddy is not really an autoflower strain (i.e. you can not rely on it to flower within a certain time at all situations) its more that it is sensible to other factors beside short days to start flowering (age, rootbound, nutrient def. etc.).

It is pretty early and fast finishing so I'll expect that only a few will need till half Oct but most will be done before that time.

Its pretty mold resistant so unless you have a very bad autumn with daily showers they should do fine.

Potency is very good and the yield is ok (approx 300 gr p.p.)

Awesome, thanks for the info. This strain sounds great for my area. I'm glad it isn't an autoflower strain, like a lowryder or something like that... I just hate those strains. And historically my area doesn't get too much rain during harvest, a few times a week at most, last year was a real killer though, probably a function of the overactive hurricane season.

As far as finding some beans...do you recommend any seed merchants? Do you sell direct? PM me if you can help.

THanks again for the help, you guys are great.

Biddy Early works great outdoors in southern latitudes, where it can grow big plants with good yields. It's a skunky plant, very easy to grow, and the taste is great. The effect is comfy, and the smell reminds the famous sweetness of the Warlock father.

Here you have a grasshopper peacefully eating a leaf from a Biddy Early plant in bloom.
