Sorry for the late reply, Iv'e not been to worried about including a node in the rooting section for some time now, as Iv'e found if the cut wants to root it will no matter what. Whats shocked me was the speed at which this particular Pheno of the Mbs has rooted, 7 days, as it would normally take at least 12-14 days with most others.

Well time for an update, sorry it's taken so long.

Ok first up, the 2nd MBS seed that I planted has turned out to be a male. I have taken a cut to establish a "mum" and put the plant into flower and after 2 weeks no pistle's. At 3 weeks the balls started so I swiftly took it out of the flower room and culled it. I will at this stage keep "daddy" in case I want to use him at a latter date. (sorry didn't take a photo)

Next would be to report on the final weight of the first harvest of the Mbs. Total weight dried and jarred is 3.2 grams in total. I'm hoping to increase the yield a lot more once I get it dialed in with it's growth pattern and starting times etc. It's certainly giving me quite a kick (quite a bit more potent than the Nirvana Special) and has a very strong fruity/floral smell to it as well. I'm falling in love with this strain/pheno type.

Next up is the original mbs (No 1) being put back into round 2 as a cut. It again showed very quick growth in veg and as such I had to top it just prior to flowering in order to control her height. Once put into flower it continued it's vigour so Iv'e had to tie the bitch up again to control her height.

Iv'e also got another 2 cuts going that are not quite 1 week into flowering stage. Again Iv'e topped them to control the growth, this time a little earlier and both have 4 shoots each. Will see how it preforms with 4 branches each and if need be I will cut 1 or 2 of if I have too.



On another note Iv'e just soaked 1 Z99 seed and planted yesterday so hopefully it will pop up so I can have a play with it and see haw this strain go's. Will post up some pics as it progress's.

Hi johnnyb m8, glad you found an expression in the mbs that you like and want to keep around, and ty for the feedback on her m8. Looking forward to seeing how the z99 goes for you, just remember the stretch is moreso than the mbs, but z99 is more bendable and trainable.

Thanks for stopping by, yes it certainly is a nice expression but it will take time to test the rest of the seeds and who knows I might find a better one yet. If this one is any indication I think you guys are on the right track.

It certainly has an unique high that Iv'e not experienced before. If I sit and watch some tv it seems to be a full body experience with out feeling tired,, but if I get up and move around I'm still motivated to do things and the high then seems to be more in the head, very nice.

So the Z99 seed has popped, now comes the wait to find out it's sex and then of coarse the out come of growth and bud production etc in the mini growth environment.

With 4 stems each they seem to be behaving them self's a little so I'm hoping that Iv'e got the finish heights spot on, another week will tell.

And lastly the other Mbs in the cab, she's at nearly 4 weeks now
