Where are the f2's?
So I'm collecting beans for this years outdoor, gonna plant friday.. I was wondering if anyone knew of a seed company which has kept "pure" Casey Jones alive? I've seen a lot of crosses but I'm very much interested in f2's or f3's whatever of Casey Jones.. I really miss that smoke. Some of the best I ever had.
Anyone knows where to source some please let me know. Maybe even on the boo or bay and I had overlooked them. |

not sure about f2's, but check out connoisseur genetics they've got casey s1's. probably the nearest thing you'll find at the minute.
hopefully it won't be long before heads back making more seeds for everyone to enjoy. |

Don't know anywhere to source the pure CJ atm... CSG has the S1, and house of love has 2(qty) cj F3 beans in every mixed pack (aka 12+2 mix packs)
Foomar just dropped some geisha f2s and g13/diesel x geisha from h3ad... I'll rework my CJ f2s eventually and send in the F3s for freebies when I get some open space... Probably early next year, I'll start it up if all goes to plan  By Friday?? No ideas for ya there...  Good vibes to Mr. and Mrs. H3ad. Where ever ya are, hopefully you're toking that kind and livin' easy... Maybe we need to start a h3ad preservation thread??? |

Intend to run my last pack with the keeper girl and solid male i already have as clone , cull anything dodgy and open F2 the whole lot in one , hopefully a 6F/6M mix before xmas.
Can supply a 1F/1M incross now , if several other growers can send in similar , they could perhaps be mixed at SB to provide a more representative range of expressions , if nobody has enougth plants to do it individually. This is one of few that i feel are really worth preserving in some way , should even be possible to redo the cross from scratch. There are scumbag seed banks out ther still actively listing CJ , someones F2,s or complete fakes. |

Foomar, I'd be down to mix seeds with ya for the seedbay cats...
Just flipped a bunch of casey for a seed run... 8 casey jones f2s, 1 casey jones f1 (my cut), and a white jones (the white x casey jones).... I'll let all of the casey f2 males do their thing with all the ladies and my cuts... F2s were an open pollination between 9 fems and 4 males. My Casey and g13/Diesel beans will get dropped tomorrow plus I'll grab the Joe Schmoe cut to make some Jones seeds with.

Man, I've got soooo many grow projects lined up, but I'm seriously thinking about an all Casey Jones run for stash. Also want to compare the f2's to the f3's to see if there are any noticable differences.
Throwing in some CSG S1's for a side-by-side-by-side comparison would be cool too!!

 Seed Buyers Beware! Don't waste your money on hype. If you have to buy multiple seed packs to find that "keeper", you're getting ripped off. Every female in a pack of seeds should be a keeper! We've been led to believe that lots of variation in a cross is a good thing, because some vendors would rather you buy several packs of their gear, instead of them actually doing the selections to fix that nag champa or golden clit trait themselves. For hobby growers, pheno hunting is fun. But mono-croppers who grow to pay the bills prefer a consistent product that regularly delivers the desired trait package. |
