Grow Tips by justalilrowdy

Gardening by the moon is very beneficial. Just a few tips this morning to get started. The moon is waning (growing smaller) so water less. Plants require less water during this time as the draw from the moon is weaker. Also wait to plant seeds until the the "new moon" which comes around the 22 of April. It works for me.

Oh you will be ok Doob.. They will probably do fine. I just get a better germination rate and they are off to a better start when the moon is growing. The pull is stronger then. I always try to harvest with the full moon. Gardening by the moon certainly gives an advantage but many pay no attention to it at all and do just fine.

Harvesting during a full moon gives you fatter fuller trichomes because the draw from the moon is strongest. The next full moon is may 6th. From april 22 to may 6th plant seeds, cut clones and re-pot. Plants will utilize more water and nutes during this moon cycle called the "new moon."

Spring has sprung! Ain't it beautiful?!

Damn, you are obviously somewhere else. If it was just a bit colder, it would be trying to snow here! Appreciate the tips, Rowdy. I've always been interested in "gardening by the moon", but didn't know where to start.

Maybe I should have sprouted my Cali Connection Bubba Kush by the moon. These are the weakest seeds I have ever seen!!!
