is it supposed to do this ? or is it mena b 2 stems ?

Perfectly fine.

You have successfully "fim'd"(I think thats what they call it) the plant. It's another method of pruning/topping. It is something some grower try to get all the time.

It has to do with were exactly tou cut it when you topped it. One way you get two main stalks going up and another you get four mains.

TK-It's called Fimming or Fimmed or to FIM ( Fuck I Missed). I have had plants that grew multiple stems when just topped (4-8)and looked like a Bowl or stadium. Fimming differs to topping in this way- You only cut 2/3 off the top damaging it but not removing it altogether. In the time the true top takes to recover lower branches dramatically catch up. Ends up looking like a bud bouquet.
