I agree there is no way you can beat all the back doors and government keys to technology. They simply won't allow a technology if they can't have the keys to it in my opinion.

Firewalls are a joke too I think, ya lets set up a program that tracks every connection we make than updates. Ya corporations can be trusted not to resell it. Email and phone have price lists to sell to governments of peoples info. Encryption programs "probably" just get a higher price and more secrecy about it.

When I ran a computer without a VPN it garnered about 17 interested connections but the one with the VPN had 10,000 "interested" computer connections, so I can agree much with the attention factor just making yourself a target. But for me I used it as a way to try to learn the backdoors for windows and cut it down to 5,000 computers that could hit my computer.

Either way though Encrypting your stuff out in the open is the best way done for a long time underground and using military water proof bags to hide Cannabis related stuff away from you living area. Or to do drop offs with someone else and encrypt it in the open on where to find it. It would be time sensitive and not matter later if the encryption gets broken later. Make new spots random encryption. Just something anyway.

Sorry to hear that, the USofa is already monitoring all emails and cell phone calls and have been for a long time, we have the Patriot Act to keep us SAFE, OH YEAH.
