IR/UV Eye Protection
Uhhh...that was supposed to be "UV." Sorry. I don't know how to edit thread title.
Growers, Anyone have info on eye protection for not only UV, but Infa Red? I have these links. https://www.safetyglassesinc.com/fanc...s%20Report.pdf https://www.safetyglassesinc.com/Uvex...afety-Glasses/ These glasses are good for people who work with molten metal. Thanks. -granger |

I use my ray bans, and they do the trick. I really had forgotten to wear them for a long time, and when I was done in my cab, I was constantly bliklnking, and my eyes(well eye, I can't see out of one) felt dry. These hps lights are tough on the eyes, 150w or anything else. I can only imagine how its like with a 1000!!

These are what I use:

I got some cheap welder's googles off ebay... Plastic frame, flip up lenses, and big enough so I can wear my prescription glasses underneath and work... Best 15 bucks ever, especially with vert bulbs and no reflector...
Lots of info here --> https://www.icmag.com/ic/showthread.php?t=153770 |
