Thanks paulo , this batch is not so cute as the last but some fast green compact plants and a very high yielding floral one , all different within two basic forms.
Several have a grapefruit odour , not sure how but it seems to go with a type of bud shape and placement. The red underleaf veins show the Blackberry in this mix , but is unreliable as an early indicator to final colour. If it does not show this trait in late veg it will not show genetic colour later , obvious in males very early. |

Two now show a little cold colour , fast green compact expression normaly 60 days.
Close packed the tops are fine but gets a little looser lower down , but these buds are usually the tastiest and a potent headrush as heavily triched , jump starts me in the morning. |

Same bud as the last post , this pic taken by candlelight on a four minute exposure , gives a warm vintage look without photoshop , plenty of trichs either way.
Mostly the buds look similar to the MBS line parentage regardless of colour , a couple of odd leaved and structured thai like throwbacks have surfaced in a mates grow , with floral odour like the normal one i have found. Big overlap between the MBS F2,s and the Antipodes, , little from the mother in the cross apart from the colour and linked odour trait , looking for a possible compact and dark plant that delinks the desirable colour trait from the unpleasent savlon odour that usually goes with it , just three plants from well over three hundred Black Geisha useing the same mother fit this description. These fall loosely so far into four main groups or expressions , beyond that they all differ in a meaningfull way , and hard to decide what to keep , would be so much better to have a hundred to choose from at the same time rather than select from small batches over a year or more. |

Getting a lot of powercuts , was tried for a laugth but better than i expected.
This one was taken before the UPS ran out , two minutes exposure lit by its own image on the monitor , which is a bit mad so will stop there. The tips on some leaves are takeing true Blackberry colour as shown by purple trichomes and stems , might get some colour yet from a very green batch so far. They have similar trichome coverage on average as the MBS , some girls have heavy cover underneath on thicker budleaves as well.

This mother had a nasty dose of root aphids and took twice as long to mature than usual , not the best looking seed but they all pinch test and the first ten popped straight off the plant.
Wally,s C99 x Blackberry x MBS , trying the darkest male MBS f2 . A combination of the cold dark MBS and the genetic dark Blackberry may produce a black oddity , worked with previous crosses with this girl. Certainly a strong flavour from the seeded bud and it is as potent , but its not a particularly nice taste compared to the sensi norm. |

This was emerald green ten days ago , cold room adding to the genetic colour , worth a lower yield as most look stunning , and its finished off the mites.
Keeping the boxed in pots warm with a 100 watt soil heating cable , the dark air temp can drop to near freezeing with no damage , sticks a week on the flowertime but no lack of trichs , subjectively more and the flavour is often deeper. |

Thanks b00m , they always look good this time of year , low temp colours , mites have gone and mould not an issue yet.
This one is compact and quite indica in structure compared to most , strong grapefruit odour , third one like this to surface , hopefully a common expression as its a cracker. Potency is average with this cross with a nice social buzz , the depth of flavour is high and yield is good for type , solid buds that crumble without a grinder. |
