MBS outcrosses ......
Will be documenting a series of outcrosses with the keepers from the MBS test run , most will be freebies if they test out well and there is any interest.
The Antipodes cross , (C99 x Blackberry) x MBS , good so far with over thirty run , details start around post 77 in the MBS test thread. Cherrychunk x MBS is two weeks into first test flower , four similar males with massive stems , three girls with a lovely smell and vigour. Massive square section hollow stems just like salvia div , no stem preflowers on any plant slowed sexing. |

Mrs foomar grabbed the males for flower arrangements , spot them in church on sunday.
MBS x Casey Jones looks promiseing , elegant structure with a meaty diesel odour two weeks in , exotic looking shiney leaves of immense length. |

Thanks farmdalefurr , everything looks better without mites , wont last long.
This Cherrychunk x MBS just had the op and is a real ladyboy , top half female , bottom half male , part of a sick twisted grafting experiment from haveing a load of excess males. |

They are some seriously strong stemmed plants. Should be able to support spome seriously heavy buds!!! Would love some seeds if ever they become available. I missed the test freebies and, being aussie, crave growing some locally bred strains...even if they've had a helping hand from the Old Dart!!! |

Hi DH , the Casey cross seems stable , same cross useing a Chem D x Casey male was just binned as some were intersex in late veg , these look good so far.
Hi Dasher , the fat stems CC trait seems magnified here , the mother is strong and stands wind damage and frost well , hopeing the MBS improves the flavour . You can work out how the graft was done from the pic , simple and repeatable , sick of wasteing male rootstock. |

Very impressive
Great work you've done here foomar...Im both glad and thankfull you have taken the time to show us your work. Very impressive. May I ask, did these crosses originate from MBS1? Anyhow, keep up the great work and I look forward to seeing how this all turns out for you.
Be well Gb |

That's an interesting use of male root stock. Do you notice any variation from the female growth compared toa standard grow plant?
Reason I ask is I have a stack of vigorous growth seeds that don't have great bud growth. If I could graft a nice smoke onto the root stock I hope to get the best of both worlds. |
