Popping a pack of HFH Forgetful Snowdog outdoors in Cali :)
Figured I'd start up the thread here. Will update with photos as the season progresses.

I should be doing some pollen chucking as well. I recently met a local grower who did a cross here in town last year of Odyssey(local cali clone I believe? sativa) x Mr Nice Critical Mass. I'm gonna get some of those seeds to go along with it and dust all the ladies with a Forgetful Snowdog male and an OdysseyxCriticalMass male for genetic variation and for next seasons crop... I'll send some into the bay as freebies possibly if there's enough interest. Would make for a high yielding early finishing sativa/indica cross if I'm not mistaken.

So kind of some bad news.. Due to the negligence of a friend (any my own absence) the baby snowdawgs were left outside at night and got frosted and subsequently died the next few days. I've still got some pure Chemdawg, OG x Purple Kush, Purple Trainwreck, Plane Wreck, and Deadhead OG popping at the moment and I'll post them up in here if anyone's still interested.... None of those are from IC breeders so I figure here's as good as anywhere else on IC to post em. Really bummed about the snowdawg babies tho :/ been looking forward to that one... All those are locally sourced genetics too..
Maybe some kind soul will send me some Forgetful Snowdawg pollen to chuck at these ladies If I can find the extra $35 bucks or so I'll buy another pack to toss outdoors. Really still want to see some HFH genes cuz I know they kick ass even though I've never had the pleasure of smoking any... Thanks Esben for bringing the world dank genetics, I'll get some of them to flower eventually haha :P |

Yeah it was weird, there's rarely frost here but I guess it got cold enough for the dew on the leaves to freeze and they all subsequently died over the next few days :L

Thats bad news ogk .... i was looking forward to the results as well ... oh well thats life,
We had snow yesterday on the 5th of May and my little girls survived the ground frost from Friday im well happy with the hardiness of these northern strains ...very weird stuff going on at the moment with the weather but they brush it off no probs . Good luck with the rest of the grow

GOODNEWS!!!! I have just discovered that in a friends closet in an envelope I had gifted him were 7 more HFH Forgetful Snowdawg beans!! Its too late for outdoors this season but as I'm currently setting up an indoor garden they will be the first tester ladies in this new jardin!!
If one of the ladies is up to snuff I'll be running a clone of her outdoors either late this season (if time permits) or next April in sunny SoCal ![]() Big ups ESBEN on making all these amazing genes, I have no doubt one of those ladies will be superb smoke! -OGK |
