vanilla smell/taste?
Anybody have a vanilla strain? I'm looking for heavy vanilla smell and taste. I will be visiting the 215 growers market on Saturday
Some strains that I have been told hold a vanilla character: Biddy Early - Magnus Ice Cream - Paradise Vaniluna - DJ Short Vanilla Kush - Barney's

There's a select cut out of Butte county that is formally being released this year. The people that have been holding it now want to see it get out. They've actually used it in a breeding program and created the next step for them. You might not see this VK cut this year but watch out for it and eventually I'm sure you'll run across it. Because of the size and density of the buds it's prone to rot. Even indoors people can have problems with it. The cut is not great but very good. I saw a pound of indoor last week and awesome. Also saw a pound of someones outdoor head stash and looked and smelled fantastic. Grows rock hard nugs and outdoor can easily pass for indoor.
The fragrance, for me, is very vanilla and the flavor is more nutty nutmeg though. Not super strong fragrance but very nice. |
