DWC:start w/lucas formula; end w/molasses?

i hope that this is the right place since its a organic additive question:

first i'll give you my setup then what i want or am eventually thinking of doing, so as the norm goes i need you pro's to come in and give me the good, bad or if its even worth trying analysis that your known for. . .

background
im currently at my 7th week of flower of the DWC/NORTHERN LIGHTS grow, due to the cold temps im already noticing that the bud sites are not up to snuff yet so i know im going to be flowering for maybe an xtra 2 or 3 wks tops, after the 8th wk is up, which im cool with.

as of wk6 ive been topping up with plain water with the current pH being 6 (i pH'ed the top up water to 6.4 and not 7 for flushing purposes) in regard to starting to flush the plants. im doing the LUCAS FORMULA and noticed some, although not bad, leaf tip burn.

question(s)
i figure around the 8th wk im going to change the water and just run plain 7pH water BUT i wouldnt have to really do it that way because i "think" that instead of a complete water change and running it with plain water, i would use molasses for some benefit in boosting flavor, potency or just for an overall better product in the end for those last couple of weeks.

i was thinking that i would give them 2wks of plain water, which would be wks 7- 8, to alleviate the stress of the burn and then once they've "recuperated" i would hit them with the molasses regime for the 9th -10th wks, so its not a true flush per say.

*** is this an ok step to take or should i even bother?
*** would it benefit the overall product at all?
*** if it is then how much molasses? i normally use 1tsp./gl. for my soilless plants/ let the water sit for a while (day or so) / then mix it with regular water to decrease the pH rise that occurs in the molasses water.

*** budget is tapped out so there is no possibility to purchase any other "boosters" or "additives". im literally in a position where am limited to what i have on hand (for now) and that is molasses. just trying to see if i can use it to some benefit in the DWC situation

so you guys let me know what you think, the diary link is in my sig ("requiem for change") so check it out if you like

Too much Mg is way harsher than too much N in your smoke. Molasses is usually 15% soluble. This is why it should only be used during first half of flowering.
