Bad idea to breed with the Chem IBL line?

Hey all,

Well basically me and a friend made a few crosses with a chem ibl male and were thinking of trying a few coming up, but lately ive been reading a few posts from people who have bred with chem ibl and it seems like a few of them are having hermie issues. I was wondering if you all thought it would be safe to go with a chem ibl cross or to stray away.

thanks

Depends on what you're most interested in gaining out of such an endeavor, from my perspective. I would do it if the ultimate destination for the beans were my own personal collection, where I could work with the resulting crosses and refine them to my own tastes. If I intended to eventually sell the seeds, I would choose a more "stable" line to work with as one of the parents. just my $.02

You can breed out the hermie traits in 2+ generations. I would breed them and see what comes of it and go from there. Just going off of what other people say happened to theirs and yours really are different especially grow environments.

If you found something amazing and it hermied, you can clean her up. You can also find nothing amazing and kill the whole project and not even have to stress over anything. What I would do is GROW EM OUT and see what you do lol. It will play out the way it will.

This pheno seriously whipped out some dicks, but I have two others at day 76 that have no abnormal flowers and a fourth that has only a few nanners on it.
