Jennifer Hawkins is still pretty big here.

...and cute.

As for the plants it seems to be a mix of everything...sativas...indicas .

Quite a few breeding their own hybrids..MBS...Wallyduck and a plethora of others with no name but quality.

Many people still order from various seed suppliers overseas. Personally I cannot afford to take the risk as my security is paramount.

So I currently do my own now with an indica I have had for some time...very stable..and a strong Thai sativa.

No doubt the mix is constantly changing with new genetics being brought in.

It just continues to evolve...generally the sativa dominant strains are grown in the tropical north.

other than what mr country already said ,
theres not a big clone thing like the states ,
in places where indoor is grown they do share some cuts ,

the commercial ones ive tried were a far cry from what id call good pot ,, but i guess whatever sells ... sadly not much consideration for the end consumer there ....

as i noted another aussie say on a similar forum, :the way the weather has been we may all have to go back to the old time strains that were a little more resistant to the deluges we are continuing to experience down under ...
bring back the droughts ,, lol ....

Man I don't know about Aus, but the problem in NZ is that with a lack of any form of dispensary, people call their weed whatever it takes to sell it. Unfortunately it means that alot of shit gets fancy names. I know there was a lot of juicy fruit floating around for a while, and a strain called White Dutch that I've never heard of on the internet before.

But yeah, 90% of what people say is bubblegum, blueberry, white widow, etc is bull shit. Theres also A LOT of outdoor!

thanks for answer everyone

i've gathered that australia has some heirloom(ish)/original strains like ducksfoot and mullumimby (madness). also heard about abc which looked interesting, don't know about its quality tho . the are more of course, just don't remember them at the moment.

new zealand on the other hand, i have no idea of their heirloom strains
