KWH Grass Valley/Nevada City, Ca
Does anyone know the electric costs in Grass Valley/Nevada City area? I heard it is more expensive than other California cities?

You need to know who your provider would be, first. For example, I'm in PG&E territory and our bills are outrageous, but no more so than my folks who are in SoCal Edison territory. You might be able to get a real estate agent or property manager to share average costs on a home size or number of bedroom/occupants basis with you, as well.
Once you know who the provider is though, you can find out what they charge per kilowatt and how they're tiered, IF they're tiered. I don't think Sierra Pacific up in South Lake Tahoe was a provider who used a tiering system, and I was amazed how little we paid, even in the dead of winter with buttloads of teenagers going in and out of the house, staying up late, etc. |

It has nothing directly to do with the area and everything to do with the service provider. In grass valley it will probably be pge.
