I finally have my new killer Malawi s1's going. Along with some green Panama and red Panama. I was just noticing that the Malawi are rather compact for what they are. The green Panama seems to stretch the most and quite a bit more than the Malawi and the red Panama doesn't seem to stretch quite as much as the Green.

I was pointing out the Malawi to my friend and told him "this is the new killer Malawi", he heard it as "this is the nuclear Malawi". I repeated it four times and he heard the same thing until I said it in slow motion LOL

Hi Lammy

Yes, the New Killer Malawi parental plant is more compact and tamed than other Malawi parental plants from previous generations.
The New Killer Malawi S1 seed line is highly inbred due to coming from a S1 reproduction so you can expect less vigor and stretching compared with other older or not so inbred Malawi lines.

Please, keep us updated with the progresses of your Malawis!

Wow cst28! Really nice progress! Congrats, you are doing a great job with them
Woods, hazelnuts and aniseed are classic aromas in african sativas.

Yeah, i think it's time for flushing and let them mature for 1-2 weeks more, depending on your personal preference. If you really want to experience the most extreme Malawi effects then i always recommend to overmatured them a bit, their resin production will be even higher too. Really happy to see you have had a successful Malawi grow!

Big Medicine will become famous soon enough
Hey everyone!

I'm super excited to finally be growing Ace's Malawi! I popped 2 seeds and got two very similar ladies! I'm running them in the same room as 2 Bangi Hazes (Ace), a Congo (Ace), and a Pure Africa (Original Sensible Seeds). They are on day 23 of flower and definitely the most exotic looking of the bunch.

I'm noticing they seem to really love my organic soil. I made this batch a little light on the amendments to avoid any potential issues. I did do a neem seed meal drench a week ago and a top dress with bone meal, soft rock phosphate, and some castings two nights ago. I liked the idea of a supplemental feeding after a few weeks of flowering because these plants really grow! Like Dubi said, after about a month they are really vigorous!

I will be sure to get some more pics uploaded of just the Malawi's. They are in the back of an 8'x8' double layer scrog so getting pics isn't the easiest thing in the world, but once I harvest the other varieties I will have a great view.

Hope you all are as excited as I am!

BM
