Got me a Strawberry Diesel F2 mother!
Started my last 2 seeds from a 2-yr old freebie pack of StD F2s. I got 2 vigorous seedlings and anxiously awaited preflowers. And waited... Finally, I added some red 3000k tubes instead of all 6500k blue to my T5 and got identifiable preflowers in about a week. One male (I was pretty sure anyway) was culled:
I was pretty sure the other was fem and today I positively identified it as a female. She is bushy and vigorous, and already very stinky. I plan to clone a bunch off her for this years OD efforts. Probably won't fool with making seeds as I have several packs of the Bx. Took 4 clones today - my first clones, ever. Wish me luck!

Clones didn't root, 11+days in RRs @ 74F. Hmmm. Not very motherly... this one may be destined for produce only.

Weird, i've rooted a bunch of Ix's, F2, F3, etc with success.
Care to share your technique?

Root plugs, Hormex, dome, PID-controlled heat mat. Love daily, small T5. Usually works well but something was wrong this time. Completely struck out. After this baby is going good under the sunshine I'll try again.

Weird ... yeah ... try again. Never had a problem cloning Strawberry Diesel.
