Nugg's C99 and Blazing Cindy
Hi Nugg,
Can you clarify something for me? The description lists the offering as: Quote:
I think you mean they are hybrids. Please confirm. Sounds like you have worked the line exclusively to the pineapple pheno. Is that true? Many say that is the best Cindy has to offer. On your Blazing Cindy, anything more you can tell us about the Johnny Blaze cut you selected compared to the others you grew out would be interesting too. Thanks! Cptn Thanks! |

Hey cptn!
Hi Cptn, howz it goin? Thanks for the purchase.
About the C99, themothers were from four sources, jlp f5, joey weed f2, wally f? and Gypsy f2. These were pollinated with two Joey Weed f2 males and, yes they were mixed together before they were packaged. I don't think I can pin a fillial generation on these or if it would even be possible. What do you get when you cross a f2 with a f5? An f7 or an f3, lol. I think they're just very nice examples of the Cindy genes. Here's a couple of pics of them. This one is jlp x jw at 58 daze. a different jlp x jw jlp x jw This one is a jw x jw at 59 days bloom The rest will be in the next post due to pic limitations.

jwf2 x jwf2
they have slight variations between plants but from what I've seen they're all pretty much the same. My favorites were the phenos from jlp's f5. i didn't really breed for specific aromas since they all have the fruity pineapple aroma that Cindy is famous for. I don't believe I could consider these a hybrid since hybrids are a mix of two diff strains and this is the same strain. Prob just some mixed-up incross, lol. Lots more pics of C99 here: https://www.icmag.com/ic/album.php?albumid=8273 Blazing Cindy Here's pix of a Blazing Cindy mom. (Johnny Blaze) ...and since we have a 5 pic limit and I've used three I'll put two pics of Blazing Cindy in. Lots more BC pics here: https://www.icmag.com/ic/album.php?albumid=11382 Hope this helps, take care and keep it green!

Thanks Nug!
I haven't tried C99 yet so all I know is what I have read. Other breeders describe 2 primary phenos: pineapple and grapefruit. The grapefruit pheno is also taller and later flowering. The pineapple is preferred between the 2. I agree with you that "hybrid" is not the right word for the recombination that is taking place with different breeders C99 lines. I chose your line instead of the many others because:
I didn't know that I would get such prompt access to you and eager detailed replies to questions. I think NuggetShiner Genetics is off to a great start! |

Your mastery of C-99 intrigues me too. I will certainly look forward to running these!

received them yet with no reply from OldPink. they are not your seeds. Is there any other site that sells your seeds? |
