looks good but low wattage led's make for no penetration so would have to sit on top of plants. might be good for mother and clones

I ran a pair of 22 watt LED tubes as underlights in a 6 plant tray.
Two of them gave 44 watts over a 48" span. This was inadequate for my purposes. Standard T5 tubes come in over 15 different spectrums, matching any LED available, plus the output is more.
This shape does not lend itself to LED style light output, too diffuse, and at .076 watts per diode, not going to do the job.

I am still looking for some 660 nm underlights to balance my red/far red ratios.
The parts are out there, waiting for someone to put the package together.

Cool, thanks! I'll stick to my 54w T5 lights that were around $30 for a 4' stick.\
