Kali Mist

Kali Mist
5 awards

Arguably the top Sativa strain available today. Kali Mist grows into classical Sativa plants with very few leaves, producing much higher yields than you would expect. This strain produces dense clusters of full spirally buds, with a high resin content and a delightfully spicy scent. The open plant structure with few leaves allows the light to pass all the way to lower branches, allowing bottom buds to develop fully. Kali Mist is medicinally used against chronic pains like back aches and as a mood enhancer. Women particularly like this plant as a relief against monthly cramps. Kali Mist was improved twice since its first release; in 1998 and in 2000. The last and also best version won 4 of the 5 cups behind the name 'Kali Mist’. When planted outside early in the year this plant can grow very tall. Grown outdoors in Spain she proved to be very mold resistent, even during rains. Kali Mist won a 1st prize Cannabis Cup 1995, 1st prize Cannabis Cup 2000, 3rd prize High Life Spain 2004, 1st prize Seedcup 2008 in Bologna, Italy, and in 2009 the first prize at the Ibiza-Cup in Spain. Gives a very strong, clear and energizing High.

Respect to you. Is the strain today the same as the old Kali Mist before it was changed? Some say they see indica in the plant structure because Afghani was added and doesn't give you the same high as yester years. I am sorry if you have been asked this before.

Thank You,
Pain

Hi Painfull,

Yes indeed the Kali Mist have change because Simon wanted to reduce the flowering time on it.
So sometimes you have phenotype that are not the same as the old one, but you will still get the best sativa stone there is.

Kali Mist still in the top sativa there is.

Respect
Claude

Bonjour Claude

I started Kali Mist from seed Jan 24, 2013. I have them in 4" grodan cubes. 26*C/35% humidity, 825-1000W HPS Gavita Pro. I started them off at 1.0 mS 5.6 pH, and they started developing leaf necrosis, and light coloured leaves. I'm thinking it's a deficiency, so I increased it to 1.8 mS. I water twice daily from the top with drain. New growth seems to be larger and darker, without necrosis. Am I on the right track? How heavy do they like to feed during veg and flower? Do you recommend a specific NPK? I make my own 4-2-5 with 4% calcium and 2% magnesium (and full micros). tia!

Hi,

You were right about increasing EC, you can go to 1.9.
As per the NPK you can refer to company already on the market.
I would personally increase the Ph to 5.8 but if it is ok now do not touch.

I hope this help...

Respect

Back in '05, I smoked Kali Mist at Abraxas in Amsterdam. It was the most expensive wiet on the menu, and the coffeeshop dealer was impressed I went for the best. I rolled up a one gram blunt. Smoked half of it, and I was so high I was speechless and unable to do anything for over an hour but sit and think. The high was exactly like the best pure Thai weed. Kali Mist is the ultimate Dutch sativa. One day she will be mine.

Oh, and it was Euphoric to say the least. I would feel like I was floating in a cloud, or held in the hands of a comfortable giant, I had no need for anything, I was totally blissed.

Hi,
Your only solution is to start them flowering without any vegetation.

I love Kali Mist. I have 3 or 4 really nice phenos. At least 2 are keepers. Big, long, fluffy, white pistals. 6 weeks old. Halfway there.
