You can't disagree if u haven't seen the crap these plants are! Nice yours are fine. Mines are the worse plants for a seedbank i've seen in years.

Hi Interesting question. I've just harvested some SS AK. I couldn't find any similarity with the old pre-2000 I had. Some good tasting plants, but very little production. And for sure they aren't the killing herb it was. I wouldn't recommend it. Peace seems to me you got a harvest & said it was good tasting.....that says it all really....BYE |

Sorry
Yes, some of them were good tasting plants. About the half. Others, no smell nor taste. I've seen quite bad plants from seedbanks, but I wouldn't expect that from that one. Am I clear now? |

No light leaks. I flowered them among three other strands that went quite better. |

Lucky you! Insist, no light leaks. Original SS package from my growshop (15 years of confidence). I have selected mothers and flowering plants from different strains at the same time and, I insist, I didn't have any problem with them. Old school Jack herer, Snow Fruit, OGKush, Northern Lights, Cream Caramel, and some selfmade crosses. The pictures were all taken at day 30 of flowering. First one, mango tasting female. Not bad production, airy buds. As you see, it autoflowered while in HP sodium 18h. Second one. I have some more like this one. Good production, no taste or smell. strong smoke. Again, autoflowered under 18h. It was going to be a mom, but flowered at 15 cm. Third one. The one I could keep, the only one with no autoflowering treats. Good taste, good effect. Airy buds, very little production. 40 grams for a 1 meter plant. You can see that the flowering is not very intense, it is on day 30 as well as the others. Fourth one. You can compare that same AK with some OGKush from a spanish medium quality seedbank. Same days. It was the plant that stand closer, i didn't choose it for its buds. Big bud on the left, OG from Dinafem. Two little buds on the right, AK47 "colas". Hope it helps to understand why I think this plant is overrated. If I can not save any mother because of the autoflowering traits it comes with, I find it a very hard genetic defect, even worse if clones flower when they are 15cm. Never seen that!. Also the grass is not extremely productive, nor extremely tasty, nor extremely strong, I don't think it worths the money. I just don't find the reason to pay for it, pity I already did! I saved some seeds from the strain, maybe I can find a keeper if I plant enough of them (F2 and some crosses). When you pay for seeds you expect variation, yes, but also expect a high percentage of real nice plants. I couldn't find them there. Cheers |

mate finding a good tasting pheno is something you have to search for in any pack of seeds. ive grown out about 3 or 4 10 pack of ak47 and out of those had about 25 females. two were prone to autoflower in veg. one had airy buds. the rest were all top notch apart from that.
