I'm definately interested. When we had wake and bake Thanksgiving 2006 I believe, out of 20 folks with 10 different strains, the AK-47 overpowered all of them. I remember holding it in and my mind it felt like a "machine gun" going off with heavy vibrating rushes. Only the best White Widow or Pre98 Bubba had come close to it, ime. Yeah the rush was intense, great stone too. I'm glad you all reminded me of this. I want some.

Cheers

Jack Herer... by Gatewood Galbraith

The 'Last Free Man in America' Speaks

He changed my life. Jack was a social and philosophical tsunami; the ripples of his philosophy will reach every shore of every country. He was willing to teach every individual--not only in his own sphere, in language and culture, but in ways that were appealing and inspirational to people. He found a common denominator with everyone: freedom.

Jack gave us the factual information, he gave us tools to be warriors. We had to use the facts in order to stand up to these law enforcement tyrannts. Jack used the information that they presented and told us how to use it as fuel against them. We would not be anywhere near where we are today if it wasn't for Jack Herer. I don't have many heroes--Jack, Willie Nelson, the Chinese man that stood in front of the tanks...people that stood up in the matter of rights.

I must have been unlucky with the plant I grew.

she was too bush and had so much leaf on the kola's that it was a nightmare to harvest. I did veg her out for 10 weeks though. I scrogged her and had lots of little leafy cola's that didn't really fill out.

taste was okay, I'd say average at best.

still have 7 beans left but i'm now put off by the one pheno I did grow

olderthanbefore will become famous soon enough
When you get the right pheno you'll never let it go. I've got the indica look pheno, very short, no stretch, excellent sog strain or anyway you want to grow it. Yield is as high as AK can be, fat ass thick rock hard buds with a glow of purple near the end.
The sativa phena was most excellent as well but had very weak stems. Very few leafs but an excellent yielder as well.
Ak 47 will always be in my grow room.

I'm starting my first run of AK47.

I put them in the paper towels and 24 hours later I had small tap roots out of all of them. Then I put them in the solo cups and within 48 hours they where all above the soil ready to do their thing. 11 for 11.

Thanks! It's a nice start so far.

When do you start counting the flowering days, do you start counting them straight when you flip the lights, or after the flipping when first hairs appear? Always been wondering this...

There are not many comments made about ak47 outdoors .... is recommended?
Serious' website gives an outside finish date of Oct.15-31.

I'm at 44° and no way in hell, would I try to grow it. It would never finish.

Hi
I harvested some from seed more than a month ago.
It changed a lot from what I remember (pre-2000). Altough you can find plants with nice smells and flavours, some have none at all, and the yield is very low compared with any of the plants I usually grow from seed. The buds never compact and are very airy.

So, regarding quality, I see our standards are different. I wouldn't recommend it.

Hope it helps somebody. If I had such an information I wouldn't pick them as I did.

Cheers
