Pretty much everything I've read about this strain points to a plant that is strong, easy to grow, and has good yields.

I've looked at a lot of AK47 grow journals, and I've never seen one completed grow that looked anything but awesome.

What's not to like?

I just recently bought a pack and should start growing them here shortly. Looking forward to enjoying the grow process, and the final product.

I've grown AK out 3 times and my experience has been that they smell more like cherry in veg (stem rubs) and really fruity in flower (skunky, fruity).

Hammerhead - What was your opinion of her 6 years ago? You grow a wide variety of genetics, I'd be interested in your impression.

The 50/50 pheno's are one of my top 5 favorite smokes. The heavily sativa leaning pheno's are a little too anxiety inducing for me, but the wife loves them.

I hope nothing has changed, I just bought a new tube of them.

I had a similar experience. I got a pack in '05 and had a really strong, fruity, sativa pheno. Great yielder. I usually prefer the indica stone, but the sativa pheno was great for going out. Plus, all the honeys seemed to prefer that bud also.

simon has lost mother plants awhile ago, unfortunately this was beyond his control.

as a hybrid, ak47 phenos range across the spectrum between sativa and indica. although the diversity of each plants chararistics may differ; potency, yield, and ease growing will forever be embedded traits of this strain.

I'd also like to add that they show sex early (which I love).

Some growers have misinterpreted this characteristic as hermies, but I can assure you, that is not the case.
