Can you define lemon rot?

The yield looks to be really low. What are your thoughts?

How many of those chairs do you have? or do you just move the same one around?

Thanks!

Thank you all for the kind words.

The "lemon rot" smell I would describe as lemon zest with twist of turned butter. Not full out rancid - just enough to prickle your nose. It's not unpleasant and in burning adds a richness to the flavor. It sure is a bell ringer.

I don't think there will be high yielders in this group - tho I didn't expect any either. With different plant sizes growing together its always a battle. These test runs are primarily looking for quality buzzes first, then everything else. I move on with the individuals that I think have the best chance based on all variables to compete for harem status.

The nutes are compromised - if you look at the data sheets - they barely fed for long periods of time. While still getting claw, ram's horns, and burn on some phenos. I will go through each pheno in detail at the end and analyze their respective potentials.

I have full set of those chairs in the bloom room. I only have a limited number of steps, and stand up time is short as well - so they are handy. That chair and my ruler are getting famous!

Thank you all again

Day 63 Bloom Update

Unit:

Bud:

Budz:

Track Plant:

Data:

I'm going to start clearing these tomorrow. Prolly 3-4 days from chop.

Starting to get more complex aromas. A couple phenos are filling in nicely, while a few others still are rather poofy.

I'll go through each pheno in detail in the next post.

Tested another oops bud - same bell ringyness as the other tester.

As always, your questions and comments are welcome.

Phenotype 1

This pheno turned out to be the perfect height. P1 had the most density of all and was covered in trichs. It had a slight lemon funk aroma and was an easy trim. Looks like it could use a little more nutes.

Production was: 1.4, 1.1, and 1.7 oz.

Ratings:
Potentcy - 8.5
Flavor/Taste - 6

This one zings the head from first hit. Nice bell ringer. Very slight lemon - smooth smoke.

P1 is going forward to shakedown run status.

P2 could use a little more veg. This one foxtailed with nice trich covered buds. This one was greasy - with medium density. Lemon funk and fuel aromas with an expansive smoke. Nute levels appear optimum.

Production was 2.0, 1.5, and 1.7 oz.

Ratings:
Potentcy - 8
Flavor/Taste - 7

Expansive smoke - nother bell ringer. Fuel on inhale, some lemon on exhale.

P2 is going forward to shakedown run status.

Phenotype 3

Last Day:

Fresh Chop:

This one was the runt at the start and got one of the middle rows with the most light. It caught up on height, but made fluffy buds. P3 was never happy with the nutes - showed it with rams horns and claws. No aroma, but still decent trich covereage.

Production was 1.2, .9, and .8 oz.

Ratings:
Potentcy - 6
Flavor/Taste - 3

There's a buzz here, but nothing memorable.

P4 is sort of a mix of P1 and P2. Medium density and with decent trich coverage. Lemon rot aroma. Weak stems and OK with nutes.

Production was .9, 1.3, and 1.3 oz.

Ratings:
Potentcy - 6
Flavor/Taste - 6

P4 was a step down from P1 and P2.
