Hi, i'm not sure if this should go here so mods i'm sorry and please move it to the right forum if its not its place.

Well i would like to know from other users working with high power leds which multimeter they use, because i see some fine multimeters but in diode testing they cannot light up the led or provide any information on the continuity test. I know about fluke multimeters or agilent but i cant expend that much in a multimeter, i'm looking for something more affordable , about 30-40€. I don't really mind about it having much features like capacitance, i would just need volt , amps and ohms meter.

I have a fluke 189 it can not provide power to run anything. It will only test the data when its powered on VAC,VDC,MA ohms,continuity and some other things.. 400$

might I suggest a used meter? ebay probably has dozens if not more.

wich is basically the same as the one you posted but with some little additions, it is vc99 instead of vc97 and i payed it 5$ more.
