At Gage Green Group, we believe that our mission is to provide people with the finest genetics. Everybody who grows out our seeds can discover unique cannabis cuts to advance the diversity of the cannabis species. Some of the most famous cannabis strains in the world were discovered through careful breeding and selective testing.

We are introducing a new line of seeds called the Bastards Series. We created this series using several different females (from stable indoor varieties like the Chemdawg Sour Diesel to outdoor landraces like the Colombian Black). We took each female and conducted an open-pollination using all the GGG males that were flowering at the time. That means that every pack will contain a unique combination of seeds from various males that have been used at GGG.

Each seed is a unique bastard. Each pack has billions of phenotype possibilities.


First two strains for release include the Old School Afghan Haze Bastards and the Colombian Black Bastards.

I woulda went with Bukaki Blend based on all the different males used.

Great for breeders. However I kind of like knowing what I am about to grow, and what genetics went in. I only grow 12 plants a year to flower and need proven strains, like your grape stomper.
Can you tell us a little more about the males used in this project?

While these are untested, the parents used are all proven genetics. The fathers are all the GGG males that you seen in our stables (current and past projects). It would be futile to test these since there is a lot of randomness involved but you will see phenotypes you've probably never seen before (especially when you cross an exotic racy genetic with an indoor variety).

Well now that is a different story. Knowing your true breeding stock you can predict what might come of the cross. I will be very interested in more details, especially on the Old School Afghan Haze. Is Raider Kush a part of the Bastard Series?

The Bastards Series is going to replace our Mixed Gems - Good Ideas line. These will be the same price as the Good Ideas making it affordable for those who want high quality genetics but aren't worried about knowing the exact parentage.

Basically we were seeking to preserve the best male genetics (think OG Kush, Inferno Haze, etc.) in our library by conducting an open pollination with a few really special ladies in our garden.

The Old School Afghan Haze was gifted by a reliable source in the northwest. We tested these with fantastic results. It satisfies all the requirements that we look for in quality parents. It is extremely frosty with a citrus-flower aroma and a head buzz that will last hours. We'll have some pics up in the near future.

The Raider Kush is not a part of the Bastards Series, it was created with one mother and one father, both incredibly potent parents.
