hi dave you found it in romulan its a strong relaxing high super good for muscle spasms and pain .it does not stretch much unlike most strains how tall it is when you switch is usually how tall it finishes within inches very compact hard buds.the trim makes some great black hash to aloha cls

That sounds great. I can't wait to give these ladies a go. Im very thankful they dont stretch much. Ive been running Haze Hybrids for the last two years, and 15 inch plants can end up 5 or 6 feet from seed, so its nice to have a plant not grow out of control.

They both look like fast finishers so far. Around what age do you generally harvest them?

hi dave i harvest them when the most resin glans have done the final stretch after that they will start to turn amber a sign the thc has started to lost potentcy or in about 9 or 10 weeks if you like it more energentic do it at 8 about 50% of the glands will have did the super stretch by then .hope your doing well and so are the girls ha ha have a great week aloha cls

That sounds dead on with what I was thinking. Ill go for the 70 day window I think. Is this line a stinker? I really like my ladies to have a strong scent that reaches out and grabs your attention above all else.

Life is great as long as my garden is great. My mood seems to mirror my garden. When my ladies were being eaten alive by Broad Mites, my mood was definitely lowered. Now my garden has turned around so much, and my mood is elevated. Funny how that is.

Update time. My ladies are closing in on two weeks, and they've only been fed straight water. Im running a one reservoir Blumat setup for multiple strains, at multiple stages of flowering, and my previous nutrient level was burning up my MangoSkunkHaze, so I switched to RO water for a two week period.

I really need to set up a second reservoir for the faster flowering plants. I hand fed the two Romulan ladies last night. Right around 230 ppm N. I use a peat-lite forumula called Promix Bx, with just a starter nutrient charge. I also use Osmocote, and feed synthetic nutrients only. Im slowly going to work organic nutrients into the mix, and decrease the synthetic content. I hate measuring out nutrients each time I fill the reservoir.

Eventually Ill work some EWC into the media, which Ive purchased and had analyzed for nutritional content. Then add some Osmocote w/ Micros to cover what the EWC misses. Im very anal about what I feed my plants. Ill post the ppm of everything Im feeding once I get my next solution analyzed.

Ill be using GH Flora series. Im finishing up the last of my CES nutrients right now and making the switch soon.

I have some pics tonight of one of my two autoflowering males. For over a month now they've continued to autoflower on a 16/8 veg cycle. One has pollinated himself. He also is very resinous. The most resinous male Ive ever seen that was not treated with Florel. Too bad about the intersex traits.


I wonder if these are some pollination accidents or if its a semi-common occurence. Anyways, here are a few pics of the healthy male. The other one is very chlorotic, and not doing that great.

Ive more plants than I'd like, so Im thinking of culling these two males..

Do you have other Romulan x Romulan Max beans to work with to find another pure male from this cross?

I have 5 more males to work with. I recently took cuttings of my other males, and they've been rooted for close to two weeks now. Ill snap some pics tonight and post them.

Its so much easier to observe plants when they are small. Ive already spotted one slow vegger out of the remaining 5. Along with one that is a fast vegger. They're super compact underneath the t5's. Im running 4 6500K bulbs, and 2 2700K bulbs.

Im going to start Florel treatments on them while they are in veg for 2 or 3 treatments, then flower and see which males reverse.

From my limited experience with Florel I believe males that do not reverse maybe true males, while males that have intersex traits will easily reverse. Ive had some Black Widow males that refused to reverse, and were dropping pollen by day 14, while all 3 of my MangoHaze males reversed pretty readily by the 4th treatment. The MangoHaze line has intersex traits so Im not too surprised it reversed easily, but IME, this is to be expected of Haze lines. Im going to start Florel treatments again with the same males that did not reverse, and see what happens. Hopefully, they do not go female.

Maybe Ill make some Black Widow x Romulan with those males that did not reverse. I have some pollen I can easily collect. The two romulan ladies are in prime flowering right now. Hmmm, I think this is a must. Sounds like fun.
