Chemdog Sour Diesel problems

I got a pack of CSD a few months ago.
9\10 survived, which is pretty fine.
6 out of the 9 were straight males. Flowered them and kept pollen.

Out of the 3 females one hermied out soon into flowering.

I was left with 2 females that I kept on flowering and took clones of.

4 weeks into flowering one female popped a couple of nanners. OK - probably won't be a keeper.

A week later, 5 weeks into flowering nanners started to appear on both females - 5-6 a day.

The plants look great - tons of resin and by far the most superior growth shape I've seen. Yet - 3\3 hermied on me.

Due to the straight fire looks of the 2 females left I've decided to remove the nanners for a while and keep them flowering.

I could provide pictures on the next castration session.

Anyone else had this problem?

P.S. I've tested my cabs for a few runs with several strains, and got the CDS into a somewhat controlled tent with 3 more strains if anything in the previous closet was off, which I don't believe.
The current tent is very stable.

EDIT:
I had a small light leak from a room with one matt window through the air intake when the nanners popped.
I haven't had problems with others strain in this cab and I use it to find a resistant keeper.
After I've moved the plants to a more controlled tent I got way less male flowers. After 2 weeks in the tent one plant popped maybe 3 more and one around 15.

Both fems i kept grew pretty nicely and I've added their pictures. One is suffering from underfeeding as I thought it would, like her sister, finish up quicker. Since the yellowing (10 days) it produced 2 nanners.

I am getting flamed about how ungrateful I am, and on certain parts of growing this pack of seeds I am ungrateful. Yet for some I truly am.
This post was meant to spread the information about the CSD being pretty picky about not-perfect environments. Not diss any other quality of the CSD.

Although these lines are written in the thread I believe they worth mentioning in the first post.

I'm posting some picture to show the other straits of this strain as I believe they weren't shown enough.

Only had the CDDD show a few sterile nanners at the peak of maturity...never early in flower

the clones may not show that trait so don't throw it out till you run a round of clones and see...my SD IBL is like that...a few on the seed plants but none on the resulting clones

if the mothers will keep throwing nanners i don't have any intention of risking my crop with their clones.

you are working with sensitive genetics. none of my chemsours herm'd. you have to make sure your environment is on point. high heat, light leaks, large temp swings, etc can stress the plants out. some plants handle stress better than others. diesel genetics are sensitive. treat em right and they reward you.

dude, you gotta have ur shit ON POINT. nanners dont mean shit on chems or sours. if you toss the plants then ur just throwing money and banging genetics away. i always have a few nanners on my both ChemIbl and SourDIbl, no biggie, the herb is BOMB!!!

i cant believe you would even bother starting a thread like this; there must be 1000 of these fukin threads with 10-20 replies, all with the exact same responses. the OP starts by asking our advise about his "HERM PROBLEM" with rez gear. then, when people give him advice, they promptly say no, im not gonna take ur advice. lol.

the clones are always more stable. also, what is ur humidity? under 40% and my the plants become way more volatile.......

Philthy;
I'm not sure it would be smart running this strain in a somewhat large grow. I didn't knew it was so sensitive and I believe its worth mentioning at the description when you sell a pack of 10 seeds at 130 bucks.
Also, I'm not happy that I've paid so much for unstable seeds.

I need a cut I could count on. Not something that if its a tiny bit hot will throw nanners and pollinate a run.

redbudduckfoot;
Out of the 2 females I actually kept one that was more stable.
Both threw nanners due to somewhat minor light leaks (my other cuts didn't care about it) but one throws a few nanners near the end of flowering and should finish about 2 weeks further than her sister.

Tossing cuts because they tend to pollinate your crop is pretty smart by my book.
I rather lose my 130 bucks than ruining a 1KW run crop that worth ~10 grand USD around here.

I got no advice other than keeping the plants stress free, but that's not an option when you'r not growing at your place and watch the plants 3 times a day.
Shit happens and a proper strain should take some before turning to shit.

I flower my plants with RH as low as 15-20% at times to help trichome buildup, reducing the risk of mold and helping the plant metabolism by making the plant open the stomata further.

People that buy 130$ packs usually don't want seeds in their bud, or having to watch it closely everyday.

15-20% humidity is ridiculously low my man. and you have light leaks. there is no such thing as a "minor" light leak, especially in diesel/chem genetics. i find it hard to believe you didnt do the proper due diligence before ordering these beans. the breeder has said many times in multiple threads, just like this one, that you gotta have a perfect setup. bottom line.

i still fail to see the point of this thread.

there is plenty of great feedback on this strain in the Rez forum, as well as the responses in this very thread.

tacoma coma, aeroguerrilla, august west, to name a few. all had great results.

then you come in here bitching about herms and nanners and shit, then reveal you have minor light leaks. lol.
