SWEET AS ****
I just wana show of my teeth. I got 4 girls from 6 seeds which all germed perfectly as one would expect, I gave 1 plant to a friend so thats leaves 3 lush ladies for me to share with all of you!
They're 14 day's into 12/12 and starting to develop trich and bud sites all over place. I vegged them for around 10-12 weeks under 250w of cfl's and now they have a 400hps and 250w duel sectrum, their sitting pretty in 5 gal pots filled with potting compost, but they only went into the 5gals in the first week of 12/12. The first plant i'm gona show you is pure indica, she's a good looking girl and smells yes you guesed it of sweet pink grapfruits when you rub up and down on her fat meristem. I'm very fond of this girl and I hope she's worth hanging onto. I know we don't grow these plants for the leaves but these as you can see all over SOTF forum are beautiful leaves and plants. Peace to all that use this site and thanks to SOTF and not to forget Breeder steve. Stone |

Hi Hammerhead. Thanks for posting, you have a keen eye.
The damage caused on my plants is due to Spider mites, not encounterd trips before. I'll be treating the plants in the morning and will get some shots of the other 2 to post. Again thanks for the advice I need as much as possible. |

Thats good that you are aware of the problem. Get it taken care of now while she is still young. It's sucks having mites.

Yeah spider mites are a pain in the arse, I treated the teeth yesterday with some general bug kiler from a DIY store and will retreat on tuesday.
With plants so large and with so many leaves it takes a bit of time to do the underside of each leaf, hope I didn't miss to many. |

Hey brother, tooth are looking dark green & strong
![]() I don't see too much damage from mites thankfully although yes there are some spots but they are strong so a few mites won't stop them from doing their grapefruity frosty thing no worries there ![]() Please be careful with the products you use and consider some organic & natural options if possible because sometimes the treatments can do more damage than the mites if over-applied or applied too late into flower. Do not treat the plants with anything chemical or residual once the flowers start forming and honestly I would treat them with anything other than natural neem oil or essential oils after preflowers show. Make sure you get the undersides of the leafs where the mites hide and smear some sticky neem oil on the stem below the main cola to prevent them from migrating upwards into the new sweet sticky growth where it would be nearly impossible to reach them after buds get into full bloom. Just please if possible go for the natural options because I don't want you smoking or eating any bug killer in there my brother. There are lots of options detailed here on the forum if you search for spider mites and neem oil and I have posted some recipes using Dr. Bronners natural soap with neem oil and lavender essential oils and if you go that route just make sure it's not applied in bright hot light because you don't want to scorch the leafs and always test first on a lower fan leaf to make sure they are not overly sensitive as essential oils can be very powerful but they do knock mites dead if used properly. Thanks for posting and good luck & good karma to you brother. ![]() Much love, keep it grapefruity!

Yeah Sotf. I thorght you would like this girl, her leaves are so fat and just pure indica, she had so little side branching for ages then they just shot up to be the same hight as the top, this plant was the first to start to develop flowers and clones pretty fast too.
Still got two more to show you, one is very sativa dom and the other a nice blend. Peace. |

50/50 iso and water. Hose the shit outta all sides, top and bottom. Kills mites, and the leaves process the iso like candy, or so I remember reading. No flowers or buds to strip resin from now, so iso is no issue. Anyone heard / done this?
