something fancy and high tec. not sure yet. my crossbow kicks ass bigtime. better than any compound. but not much you can legally hunt with em. . too powerfull for small game and the carbon fiber bolts are expensive. i bought 30 LOL. my crossbow is 2 piece unlike my old one. i can quickly remove the bow part for storage. got red dot sights and also a scope. trying to put a laser on it . lol

I like this thread!I got a Bowtech tomkat 2008.I use 70# draw, tru ball stinger release, everything on the bow is still stock.Use Gold tip arrows,100 grain 4 " vein's.Like to practice out to 70 yards.I turn my body a little to the right when I shoot(right handed)This stuff can be addicting!Still have my Delta target that I bought in 2005.Thanks for starting this thread!:tiphat:
Sorry I meant to say,I turn my body to the left, not right.I don't like the way the traditional stance is.

thanks for posting fastcast sounds like a nice set up my next bow will most likely be a bowtech swat or sniper. i've had the pleasure of shooting the general and soldier models and there as sweet a bow as it gets. my brother uses 4 inch vanes with whitetail arrows he is a hell of a shot too. i only shoot 2 inch because thats all the fletching guide i have will do

I've been shooting for over 20 yrs, hunting for the last 12

My hunting bow is a Forge Firestorm, 33" axle to axle, Carter release, shooting CX Wolverines with G5 broadheads, I can put 4 in the spot at 80 yds and my furthest kill was 45yds, downhill through a tree, hit both lungs and heart

I have a matching pair, I keep one in the USA and one in the UK, both with strings and cables made by me ..... the bows are so closely matched you can swap pin sights

My target bow is a new custom made Barnsdale Classic X, shot fingers with a Davis sight and Merlin long rod, shooting Xtreme Carbon arrows
