The Smell is great! Very Bubblegum like! sweet and a bit sour in the backround. Just smells very good!^^ This Pheno goes more Sativa then the other one. It is grown very big! Even in that little 3.5 liters pot. Much bigger than her sister... And shes a lot more hungry at all!^^ But seems to be a good yielder and the budstructur looks very good, too! Very fat stigmas on her! Im very excited how the smokes gonna be...

I see a beautiful plant out there my friend! Respect!
Let's try to identify. Those seeds of last year came from my companion mug in which I throw seeds from buds I happen to find in buds.
They look some sort of haze or nycd haze aspect. They might come from cheese #3 or full moon or some indian cross as well. all of them were very sweet execpt cheese3. you'll be able to compare smell with your new seeds. Leaves look sativa. and bud development too.
Bubblegum smell? yes possible. I had different bubblegum fathers. with some more bud developing we can say more. Good score anyhow!
It looks some potent stuff as well. Both SSH and NYgHaze and afghan haze were serious stuff.
Heavy feeders? I see. try to mulch with some supersoil or light doses of compost or wormcasting. Don't overdo though...
I can't wait to see the other one.

Cool! happy to hear your good germ rate! these seeds are fresh and in the perfect time elapsed from harvest to fully germ. You'll like them. Amazing stuff came out of sonic fly. Potent and sweet. Can't wait to see their flowers. Tnx again for your confidency.

I've great news for you! I'm so happy.
I smelled some resin that appeared some days ago on my AO crosses.
Most of them have that orange tarty smell mixed with the mothers' distinctive smells. It's amazing how many different tones there are hidden...
If you know agent orange you will well recognize it in them.
Some smell definitely dominate (Sour d, bubblegum,) some beautifully blend with orange (nycd, nycd haze, grapefruit) some adds crazy sweet tones to mothers' smell (purple wreck, chocolope)... still a lot to dig into...

I had the luck to smoke some more samples of sour x ao. Sour dominates in smell and taste, but backtaste is so sweet and orange. Can't wait to test it cured. Potency is strong and fast hitting.
Another interesting thing is that they express a very good hybrid vigour. AO father seem to have passed a strong stem structure. Quite long stretching compared to the mothers. I like the way Ao streched and grew beautiful long colas. Shape is at the end like a fist, strong and resinous. I hope the continue like this. Even low stretching varieties like bubblegum or purple weck or grapefruit were so enhanced. Really interesting. This is good especially for outdoor.
Resin production is displayed very fast into flowering, 2 weeks!
Abundant and high in density. Makes me think they're going to be somehow fast flowering.
These crosses are doing good, can't wait to see some report from you folks

Some SFXAO update... popped 2 more seeds recently too... all is well they are in dirt now.

time for some updates an at last some pictures to evaluate.
So far all the Agent orange crossings are behaving very very nice.
If looking carefully at every single plant, with the experience in all mothers I can sum up a few positive traits the AO passes to his siblings when outbred.

-Vigour of plant is increased. two variations. 80% stretch is important after 12/12 and tends to form long slender colas, that suddenly stop growing and just enlarge in a solid 'dome' like top or spear shaped.
20% stay somehow shorter and squatter.
I noticed this new kind of long colas boost in many siblings. It added some weight and shape to normally slower plants like Bubblegum and even grapefruit.
-Leaves shape is definitely Ao leaning in most specimens.
-Resin is multiplied. leaves are sweating resin and buds are rich in trichomes.
(seems a trait from JTR)
-Calyx shape and hair lenght and shape are mostly inehredited from the mothers.
-As smell Ao adds a tarty, tangy, orange backsmell to the mothers' original scent, adding complexity and fragrance. Really mouthwatering...
It's a southern italian agrumes garden smell, sorta of a big basket of mixed mediterrean fruits.
Only sour d dominates so much in smell, all the others are a good mix. Orange is present in 90% of the plants.

First plant group you notice some sour x ao having a wonderful boost in her shape, growing long slender sativa like colas. This is unusual for Sour d alone. I love it,

Another story is when Ao meets some form of Nycd.
Resin buquet of these is importantly enhanced.
Enriched. engraesed, more floral, more fruity.
When haze is present smell gets sorta eletric, funky citrousy,
Imagine to mix orange peel, tangerine peel and something bitter like bergamot peel. It's amazing.
Here's a nyghaze x ao. She looks like a sativa super foxtailing girl. longer flower, but amazing smell.
Ao crossed with original nycd is stouter, faster in flower but matches the above in complexity of smell.



Last but not the least a preview of purple wreck x ao.
PW dominates nearly completely in this beautiful urkle leaning pheno.
Purple appeared at 4th week, with little cold at night.
Resin is grapey and rich. Orange is in the back.
