This is why SOPA got knocked down so fast! Becuase google thought it
was a stupid bill and not needed becuase they had a better way to censor!!! My online life will change soon! Google is a monopoly and you are being watched and documented by them!! This whole Cloud system seems just as shady if you ask me! On a lighter side though atleast its just the weed that we all chat about!! Guppies in a sea of great white sharks!!

I agree with Strawberry girl. I have wondered how much is the old stoner from the '60s (rebel), and grumpy old fart shit from me, so I have kept mostly quiet about this. But I think cloud computing is absolutely nuts and what Google is doing is just trying to be out in front of the pack and moving toward having more control in ALL aspects of our lives, and a huge flagrant means toward further invasion of privacy. They, along with Apple and Facebook have absolutely no qualms about sharing your personal information with whoever pays most, with profit and control being the bottom line as their incentives and just going further and further with small stepped advances into invasion while simply ignoring complaints so that everyone finally just accepts this as being inevitable. I REALLY don't like this move. Those companies of course say different, loudly, but just look what they are doing and have done. Actions speak louder than words. And I think this is just the tip of the ice-berg.

sopa was knocked down, or let fall down as Obama had already signed the ACTA treaty which is worse then sopa or pipa. we have a thread on Acta stickied, folks should check it out and at least sign the online petition.

but i agree, i will never use google clouds or even the search engine. i use startpage.com which is a privacy advocating search engine. it will actually go do the search with google and then bring you the results. it even lets you view search results by proxy. can be added to firefox no problem. you should also have no script to stop google analitics and all the other spy scripts reporting what you are doing. and just make a gmail for you tube, 1 for each place you are joining and all with different names, screw them seeing all your online activity at a glance, let them at least have to work for it lol.

ps: actually make email addies with places that respect your privacy. not gmail, as they will scan all your mail traffic and store it.

Wait a minute... Obama already signed ACTA? What a sly, idiotic, jerk. I used to like the guy. But with his bailouts, reneging promises on MMJ, and now this huge, blatant BS, fuck em all. Not voting IS saying something. Maybe Ron Paul, if he had a better chance.
