seems very nice, but there is nothing on the web site in writing about the author, the concept, the project, any affiliations, etc...

what do you know about it?

not saying it's not perfectly innocent, but there could be code in there that could be detrimental and send your IP to LEO or something... just sayin...

i sure wouldn't download and install it unless i had the source code and new a lot more about it..

it sure looks nice however

EDIT: i just googled 'herb iq'... there is some info out there, checking it out now...

well it is written by a couple users over at roll it up...

just google 'herb iq' and go the the thread several links down called 'Free Grow Software'

it's been around since july 2010...

sounding and feeling more legit all the time

starting to look over the code a bit, but it's will take time to go through all of it... with that said, i would think any backdoors, etc... would have been identified already if it was malicious in any way...

any ASP NET programmers out there care to comment... that's not where my expertise is, but i can understand most of the code, there is just a bunch of it...

I had those same concerns, while I do not read code, I did run it against a network sniffer, several av programs and several trojan detectors. It looks clean to me and does not appear to be talking to anything that it shouldn't.

btw AV only helps in case of a KNOWN trojan/malware ... its best not to run any .exe from unknown source
