new ad in high times says AK47 wins all three cups indica, sativa and hybrid?
how can ak47 compete in the sativa and indica and hybrid category? seems a bit off. not trying to hate just dont understand how you can have the same strain entered into all three category?
honesty imo is the best form of advertising |

AK-47 is 60/40 Sativa/Indica.
There are Indica and Sativa phenotypes. It could compete in either category. |

For the fact you stated being a 60/40 mix, it could only be a hybrid. Just because there are sativa or indica leaning phenos doesn't make it one or the other, the genetic make up does.
The strain was created supposedly by columbia, mexico, and thai sativas, crossed with an afghani indica. Thus, if the reported lineage is correct, it should only correctly be labeled a hybrid. By taking two different species, a hybrid was created. |

The only people who really understand the true greatness of AK-47 are the people who grow it, or the people who are lucky enough to acquire a good pheno from a distribution facility when they first try smoking it. It's one of the most diverse strains out there. That's what I love about growing it. You get a variety of phenos to choose from when growing out a pack of AK-47. AK-47 is my favorite strain to grow. |
