Bunk seeds over and over....

i used to love rez genetics. i swore by them. but the last packs i have ordered have had bunk ass germination rates.

1-3 seeds per pack germinate.... i ordered 2 packs of sour d and got 4 plants, and i ordered 1 pack of chemdogg and got 1 plant.

this ruined my crop, and gypsy wont replace my seeds. i have been ordering from gypsy and rez for 10 years now, and never had a problem untill this last year.

DONT FALL FOR THOSE PRICES! THE SEEDS ARE NON GERMINATING!!!

only ever had problems with some Quick Mist Diesel germinating years ago but everything else since has been ok.
Although my Sour Diesels from January 2010 release are a bit 'what was all the fuss about' ?.. just don't seem to have that SD structure that i have been seeing reported in grows but as i say everything else(and it's been a lot)from Rez has been top notch and killed it in every department.
sorry to hear the neg vibe you got with his stock bro just gotta stick with what gives you the right results in the end i suppose..grow hard

2 packs of chem double d, 1 plant, about a 6 out of 10. i'll stick with small private breeders, who replace in the small chance of a problem.

The man definitely had/has good genetics and great success but perhaps quality control was never consistent.A couple strains seemingly downgraded more than others in recent times and well.....for top dollar prices one would expect elite quality.Otherwise adjust pricing accordingly and avoid the bad karma, imo.
Personally my only Rez genetic is SD IBL circa 2011 and while all sprouted I have experienced the worst male/female ratios ever with these seeds and managed 3 sub-par ladies.

I bought 1 pack of Sour Diesel IBL 2010 and started 4 seeds of 11. All germed, 3 males, 1 female. I hit the female with the pollen from the 3 males and ended up with over 100 seeds. So now I'm growing out the 100 homespun seeds and the progeny so far is the sourest, stinkiest, stickiest, most potent weed I've ever grown. And I still have 7 seeds from the original package. I guess my point is that luck runs in both directions.

I am now considering doing this with my 3 SD girls.I had 30 something males originally and kept 2 bad-ass studs in isolation to experiment with my kushes.
Sure, luck in both directions is always nice, but for 180+ per pack we shouldn't have to put in extra work,is my point

Rez's genetics are not the end all and be all of weed. There are plenty of good genetics around for $30.00 to $40.00 for a ten pack. That's a fact because I'm growing some. I'd say who but the good folks at icmag censor those types of posts. I will say that I am currently running herijuana ibl and ko kush f4. Nuff said.

Last year the majority of expensive packs of seeds I bought had super shitty germ/survival rates rates. Not just rez seeds but other top breeders. they have been the worst seed survival rates I have had in all the time I have been growing.

I have seeds I made myself and they grow and germ just fine, some even a few years old

it really pushes me more and more to make F2's and crosses because it hurts the wallet when you lose $50+ worth of seeds in one shot.
